In the latest development in the Mansukh Hiren death case, a self-proclaimed owner has turned up of one of the number plate which was recovered from the Mithi River by the NIA.
Vijay Nade claimed that number plates that were recovered yesterday by NIA from Mithi river, belong to him.
He said, "My car was stolen on Nov 16, 2020, and an FIR was filed.
I've a copy of the same.
For three months, there was no information but yesterday, I was informed about it".On March 28, the National Investigation Agency took arrested police officer Sachin Waze to Mithi River bridge in Mumbai's Bandra-Kurla complex on March 28 for evidence recovery.
A team of divers recovered CPU, number plates of a vehicle, and other items from the river.
Mansukh Hiren, the owner of the vehicle that was found containing explosives outside Ambani's house, was found dead in a creek on March 5 in Thane.
