UP panchayat polls: Mulayam Singh's niece Sandhya files nomination on BJP ticket

Ahead of Uttar Pradesh panchayat elections, former state Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav's niece Sandhya Yadav has filed her nomination from Mainpuri on a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket, on April 07.

She is the incumbent chairperson of Mainpuri district panchayat.

The state gram panchayat elections are scheduled to be held in four phases starting from April 15.

The votes will be counted on May 2.
