UP panchayat polls: Ballot box looted after clash between supporters of 2 candidates

The first phase of Uttar Pradesh panchayat polls saw a ballot box being looted in Fathehbad on April 15 after supporters of two candidates clashed with each other outside the polling booth.

Authorities said the miscreants are being identified, as the incident was recorded on video.

Agra DM Prabhu N Singh said the re-polling will be requested from Election Commission.
