What's important - people's lives or image of your govt?: Priyanka Gandhi on COVID testing

On Uttar Pradesh government saying they have increased COVID-19 testings, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that they did antigen tests more instead of RT-PCR test to lower their numbers, during in an exclusive interview with ANI on April 21.

"Their own Sero-survey in October-November said, 5 crores people came in contact with the virus.

They recommended ramping up of testing.

UP Government started 70% antigen tests which means only 30% RT-PCR test is being done.

Why did they not ramp up?

Why the antigen tests?

To lower their numbers?

Even today reports are coming that private labs are being told to stop the testing.

Why?

What is important - people's lives or your numbers and the image of your government?," said Priyanka Gandhi.
