On Sunday, Maharashtra Navnirmal Sena chief Raj Thackeray urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to introduce Uniform Civil Code in the country at the earliest.

He further added that Aurangabad should be renamed Sambhajinagar after Maratha ruler Sambhaji.

This statement comes at a time when the Navnirmal Sena chief is trapped in the recent Hanuman Chalisa controversy and his statements on the loudspeakers in mosques.
