Power cuts in most Ukraine regions after Russian strikes
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says most regions are without power in freezing temperatures following a barrage of Russian missile attacks all over the country.
"As of this evening, there are power outages in most regions of Ukraine," he said.
Russia launched a large drone attack on Kyiv overnight, with Volodymyr Zelenskyy warning the attack shows his capital needs better air defences. Sky News
Ukraine, known as the Breadbasket of Europe, is a major global supplier of grain and before the Russian invasion it regularly exported around six million tonnes of grain every month from its Black Sea ports.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot has stated that Ukraine may use French missiles to attack targets in internationally recognized Russian territory, without specifying whether such strikes have already occurred.
