In a very significant discovery, for the first time, major deposits of Lithium have been found in India.

According to the Geological Survey of India , about 5.9 million tonnes of lithium reserves have been found in Jammu and Kashmir.

Prior to this, a small reserve of Lithium was said to have been discovered in Karnataka in 2021.

This recent discovery...and its subsequent exploration has the potential to solve many of Indiaā€™s current problems. Today we take a look at what Lithium isā€¦what this discovery means for Indiaā€¦and what benefits this discovery might yield in the near future.
