Thousands of mourners gathered in Manchester on Monday to say goodbye to Sir Bobby Charlton.

Outside Old Trafford, fans lined the street to watch the Manchester United and England great’s coffin pass by.

Representatives of club and country, past and present, attended Sir Bobby’s funeral service at Manchester Cathedral.

The Prince of Wales, president of the FA, was also in attendance to pay his respects.
