Mediators in Qatar said that the first group of 13 Israeli women and child hostages would be released later in the day.

Posting on Truth Social, he threatened total destruction if Hamas failed to comply. Talks over further hostage swaps have stalled, and Hamas has condemned Trump’s remarks.
