The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released footage on Tuesday (Feb 13) allegedly depicting Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and his family members inside a tunnel beneath Gaza.
The video purportedly shows troops conducting a tour of the tunnel, where Sinwar and other high-ranking Hamas officials reportedly sought refuge following an attack on Israel on October 7th.
In a bold operation, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, freed kidnapped Palestinians held by Israeli forces during a daring ambush in Beit Lahia, Gaza. The operation resulted in the deaths of three Israeli soldiers, who were shot at close range while fortifying a building. The fighters seized Israeli weapons and liberated civilians held captive inside the structure. This marks another major escalation in the ongoing conflict, with reports of further casualties following additional attacks in the region, including the death of two Israeli soldiers in an explosion in Jabalia.
