Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has fiercely condemned former U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal to seize control of Gaza and remove its Palestinian population. Speaking in Istanbul, Erdogan declared, “No one has the power to remove the people of Gaza from their eternal homeland,” reaffirming that Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem belong to the Palestinians.
Trump’s plan, announced alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has sparked global outrage, particularly in the Arab and Muslim world.
