Labour has launched a proposal to create a digitised version of the NHS red book that parents use for their children’s medical records as part of a series of reforms to the NHS app.

Sir Keir Starmer has held a meeting with the Emir of Qatar in 10 Downing Street, on the final day of his state visit to the UK. The prime minister hailed the "strong partnership" between the two countries and the Emir paid tribute to the "great relationship we have together".
