Shelley Duvall, the actress known for playing Wendy Torrance in 'The Shining' and starring in numerous Robert Altman films, has died. She was 75. Dan Gilroy, Duvall's life partner since 1989, told The Hollywood Reporter she died in her sleep of complications from diabetes at her home in Blanco, Texas. He said, "My dear, sweet, wonderful life partner and friend left us. Too much suffering lately, now she’s free. Fly away, beautiful Shelley."

From showstopping performances to emotional speeches, the Tonys put Broadways biggest night on full display airing live from Lincoln Center on CBS and Paramount+. Miles Teller is set to star in a remake of 'An Officer and a Gentleman' for Paramount. The original romantic drama starred Richard Gere as a troubled young man who enters the aviation officer candidate school. The movie proved to be a massive hit when it was released in 1982, grossing over $130 million at the domestic box office, an equivalent of around $420 million today. It also earned six Academy Award nominations, winning two.
