Starmer refuses to comment on Rayner’s tax affairs
Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has refused to comment on whether the party has provided funding for tax or legal advice for his deputy Angela Rayner’s tax affairs.
Mr Starmer said, “I have said I am absolutely pleased to be out with Angela today, and that is the focus that she has, that is the focus that I have had.”

A man has appeared in court charged with two counts of murder after the discovery of human remains in suitcases in Bristol, and, at a flat in west London. 34-year-old Yostin Andres Mosquera appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates Court earlier today. Police have named the two victims as 62-year-old Albert Alfonso and 71 year old Paul Longworth who lived together at a flat in Shepherds Bush. The suspect had been staying with them.
