Thousands of pro-Palestinian demonstrators have been gathering in central Malmö ahead of the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest.

They have been protesting against Israel’s participation in this year’s contest in the southern Swedish city.

Security is tight ahead of the final on Saturday, with armoured police reinforcements from Denmark and Norway drafted in to help.
