Sunak highlights education successes under Conservatives
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, speaking to ITV Tonight, expressed pride in the progress of English education under Conservative governments.
"English schools are now the best in the UK," Sunak said, adding, "English school children right now are the best readers in the western world." He said that these reforms have significantly benefited children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
