Foreign Sec: Sunak announcing exciting policies for future
Lord David Cameron says Rishi Sunak has "every day" announced "exciting policies for the future", adding the prime minister has shown "lots of energy" throughout the election campaign.
Speaking on a visit to a farm in Cornwall, the foreign secretary adds the choice at the election is all about "having a plan" with the Conservatives or "more taxes with Labour".

Shadow Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds denies the Labour Party of 2024 looks like the Conservative Party under David Cameron's leadership. When asked whether the two parties are similar Reynolds says, āI really disagree on thatā. He continues saying, āA Labour platform which is pro-business and pro-worker is about better living standards, better public services, it's about breaking out of the stagnation of the last 14 years.ā

The Foreign Secretary has called for a ārapidā investigation into Israeli airstrikes in the southern Gaza city of Rafah over the weekend. Lord Cameron said "the Israelis have already said it was a tragic mistake, but we want to see that properly investigated."
