Prime Minister Keir Starmer has said Britain faces a "new and dangerous threat" in light of the Southport attack in July 2024. Speaking a day after Axel Rudakubana, 18, pleaded guilty to murdering three young girls at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class, Starmer warned of the rising threat of 'extreme violence perpetrated by loners, misfits, young men accessing all manner of material'.
