Thousands of farmers arrived at the event in a convoy of tractors before joining a huge rally attended by celebrities including Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Jeremy Clarkson. Victoria Atkins has slammed the government's family farm tax, describing it as a "cruel policy" which will "destroy family farmining in the UK." 57-year-old Brian Whitelock has been jailed for life without parole for murdering his neighbour Wendy Buckney in a savage attack in her own home.
