The accident, which occurred near Chennai, resulted in the derailment of 12 to 13 coaches and left 19 people injured, all of whom have been taken to hospitals for treatment.

Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported.

Authorities are working diligently to restore normal operations at both railway stations.
