Spanish farmers lash out against Mercosur: “They will end European agriculture”
The Spanish government has defended the agreement between the European Union and Mercosur on agriculture and livestock, unlike other countries such as France or Germany.
This has provoked the anger of Spanish farmers, who are not ruling out protest action.
In France's Var department, farmers protesting against the MERCOSUR treaty gathered this Monday morning at various locations in the area, blocking highway traffic in Le Cannet-des-Maures.
