PM to act on findings of investigation into Siddiq
The Prime Minister will act on the findings of an independent investigation into Treasury minister Tulip Siddiq, Cabinet minister Peter Kyle has said.
Following reports that she lived in properties in London linked to allies of her aunt, former Bangladesh prime minister Sheikh Hasina, Ms Siddiq referred herself to the independent adviser on ministerial standards Sir Laurie Magnus on Monday.

Technology secretary Peter Kyle has addressed recent speculation that thousands of civil service jobs are set to be cut. Sir Keir Starmer is set to deliver a speech on Thursday setting out an overhaul of the British state. "A smaller, smarter state does mean adapting government and it will mean lowering the head count in some areas but it will also mean bringing in new digital skills as well," Mr Kyle said.
