British former soldier Daniel Khalife has been jailed for 14 years and three months at Woolwich Crown Court. In November, the 23-year-old was found guilty of spying for Iran and escaping from HMP Wandsworth. Triple-killer Kyle Clifford has been handed a whole-life order for the rape and murder of his ex-partner Louise Hunt, and the murder of her mother Carol Hunt and sister Hannah Hunt.
Clifford previously pleaded guilty to murdering Louise, Carol and Hannah, and was later convicted of raping Louise in a "violent, sexual act of spite".

Kyle Clifford, 26, has been sentenced to life in prison for three counts of murder. The missing sailor who disappeared after the tanker collision in the North Sea is "presumed dead". Speaking in the House of Commons on Tuesday, Maritime minister Mike Kane said: "Our working assumption is that - very sadly - that the sailor is deceased."
