Brett Gardner's Son's Cause of Death Ruled as Carbon Monoxide Poisoning, Kesha Announces North American Tour, National Burrito D

Former Yankee Star Brett Gardner's son's cause of death ruled as carbon monoxide poisoning.

Nearly two weeks after his unexpected passing, a cause of death has been confirmed for Brett Gardner's 14-year-old son, Miller, who passed away suddenly while on a family vacation in Costa Rica.

Randall Zúñiga, director of the Costa Rican Judicial Investigation Agency, revealed to the public that Miller had tested positive for carboxyhemoglobin poisoning, otherwise known as carbon monoxide poisoning.

Initial reports cited his cause of death as asphyxiation.

However, later testing found a carboxyhemoglobin saturation of 64%--14% more than what is considered the lethal amount.

The hotel room that the Gardners had been staying in was reportedly adjacent to a machine room, which is believed to have caused the contamination.

The Arenas Del Mar Beachfront & Rainforest Resort initially denied the existence of carbon monoxide within the hotel room and has yet to make a follow-up statement since the release of this new information.

The 38-year-old singer will make stops in 25 different cities throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The tour kicks off on July 1, three days before the release of her new album, and will run through August 10.

The tour will also feature guest performances by Scissor Sisters, Slayyyter, and Rose Gray at select shows.
