Fresh headache for Labour as questions grow over Angela Rayner's tax affairs
Sunday, 7 April 2024 Labour's deputy leader Angela Rayner is facing fresh questions over her tax affairs - and there's a feeling in Westminster that they will not be the last.
Angela Rayner has paid tribute to former deputy prime minister John Prescott following his death aged 86 following a battle with Alzheimer's. The deputy prime minister described Mr Prescott as "an incredible figure in politics" and revealed he would often ring her after PMQs to offer words of encouragement.
