Voice of Africa, Global South to grow stronger with AU inclusion in G20: South African top official

The voice of Africa and the Global South would "grow stronger" following the admission of the African Union at the G20, a top South African official said on Saturday. According to Vincent Magwenya, a spokesperson for South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, the African Union's membership in the bloc is a "very positive step" toward the reforms desired in the United Nations Security Council and other global multilateral institutions.
