BSF confirms ceasefire violation by Pakistan, injuries to 2 personnel

Two Border Security Force (BSF) jawans were injured in unprovoked firing by Pakistani troops along the international border in Jammu's Arnia sector. The BSF confirmed the cross-border fire exchange and injuries, stating that it was the first violation of the ceasefire agreement since February 24, 2021. The injured personnel are in stable condition. Villagers in the Arnia border belt protested against the breach of truce, burning an effigy of Pakistan and raising anti-Pakistan slogans.
