Another Shinde loyalist tenders resignation amid Maratha quota row

Shiv Sena MP Hemant Godse from the Eknath Shinde camp has resigned in support of the demand for reservation for the Maratha community. Another MP, Hemant Patil, also submitted his resignation in support of the protests. Godse emphasized the long-standing struggle of the Maratha community for reservation and their belief that it would bring them justice. The Maratha reservation issue has led to incidents of violence, including the torching of a political party's office and the residences of politicians. The government has filed a curative petition in the Supreme Court to resolve the issue legally.
