Cop accused of raping girl arrested, axed from job

A sub-inspector in Rajasthan has been fired and arrested for allegedly raping a five-year-old girl who is from the Dalit community. The accused, Bhupendra Singh, was assigned to a flying squad for the assembly elections and was suspended immediately after his arrest.
