EC issues notice to Arvind Kejriwal, Priyanka Gandhi over remarks on PM Modi
The election commission on Tuesday issued a show-cause notice to Arvind Kejriwal and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for allegedly making "disparaging" and unverified remarks against PM Narendra Modi and violating the model code of conduct. The notice against the national convener of the AAP came after the BJP filed a complaint against him on November 10,2023, regarding two posts made on X that portrayed PM Modi in a "disparaging, insulting and defamatory manner". The posts were made from the official twitter handle of the Aam Aadmi Party.
