The district has attracted 43 investment projects worth about Rs 79,000 crore, signaling a significant turnaround. Improved infrastructure and connectivity have helped eradicate Naxal activities and position Sonbhadra as a key area for Uttar Pradesh's progress. Despite its abundant resources, investors were previously deterred due to Naxalite threats.
