BSP chief Mayawati slams Congress over OBC reservations, credits BSP, VP Singh for inplementation
Wednesday, 22 November 2023 Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Chief Mayawati launched her party's campaign for the Telangana assembly election and criticized the previous Congress government for taking credit for OBC reservations. She emphasized that the BSP's struggles under the central government led by VP Singh were responsible for the reservations. Mayawati also attacked the Congress for not honoring Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Kanshi Ram, and criticized the Telangana government for oppressing weaker sections of society.

The second phase of polling in Uttar Pradesh on April 26 holds high stakes for several prominent faces, including actress Hema Malini, actor Arun Govil, and former BSP leader Danish Ali.
