Saturday, 25 November 2023 Former Rajya Sabha member Subramanian Swamy withdraws his petition seeking constitution of an expert committee to examine the transfer of a Rs 48,000 crore stress asset portfolio from Yes Bank to JC Flowers ARC. The Delhi High Court allows the withdrawal, noting that there was no objection from the parties. The court highlights RBI's guidelines for licensing and operation of ARCs, which cover issues of capital adequacy, governance, risk management, and disclosure requirements. It also mentions that partnerships between ARCs and banks may require approval from both RBI and SEBI.
