28 Indian students were deported from the United States this year, as disclosed by the Indian government. V Muraleedharan, the minister of state for external affairs, stated that the government has raised concerns with US authorities regarding these incidents. Additionally, Indian nationals are also facing deportation from Canada due to fraudulent letters of admission. The Indian government is collaborating with the government of Punjab to address this issue. Efforts are being made to facilitate the legal stay of affected individuals and ensure a comprehensive resolution through diplomatic channels.
