INDIA bloc leaders to protest today against suspension of MPs from Parliament
Friday, 22 December 2023 Congress MP Shashi Tharoor announced that the INDIA alliance protest will take place tomorrow in all states, including a gathering of 146 MPs at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Tharoor expressed the need to demonstrate to the public the government's disregard for parliamentary democracy. AAP MPs, ND Gupta, Sandeep Pathak, Sant Balbir Seecehwal, and Sanjeev Arora, will join the protest. Tharoor also criticized the passage of three criminal law bills in the absence of 97 MPs, calling it a disgrace and a disservice to the country.
