Opposition MPs came with request for suspension after some lawmakers suspended: Pralhad Joshi
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi criticized the opposition for disruptions during the Winter Session of the 17th Lok Sabha. He stated that the government did not want to suspend MPs, but the opposition requested suspension after action was taken against some of their colleagues. Joshi also mentioned that the Winter Session was likely the last session of the 17th Lok Sabha as the Budget Session would focus on the Vote on Account and not legislative business.
