Trains affected after Maoists blow up railway track in Jharkhand

Train services were affected on Howrah-Mumbai route on Friday after Maoists blew up a portion of track between Mahadevsal and Posotia stations in Jharkhand, around 50 km from Odisha’s Rourkela. The Maoists also put posters and banners at the blast site late on Thursday night. As many as 13 Odisha passing trains have been cancelled on Friday and more than 20 trains were detained at different stations after the incident happened in the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.
