Saturday, 23 December 2023 The Thane crime branch arrested a Nigerian national with cocaine worth Rs 12.5 lakh who was reportedly peddling the contraband for the upcoming festive season. The accused has been identified as Okari Bright, 33, a resident of Pragati nagar of Nallasopara and originally from nigeria. The police said that acting on a tip-off that a Nigerian national was to come to deliver contraband, a team led by senior inspector Vikas Ghodke laid a trap on Tuesday evening. The police carried out the body search and recovered from him 31 grams of cocaine which is worth around Rs 12.5 lakh.
