SC collegium recommends five names for judgeship in four HCs

The Supreme Court collegium, headed by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud, has recommended five names for appointment as additional judges in four high courts. The collegium also recommended the names of additional judges Rahul Bharti and Moksha Khajuria Kazmi for appointment as permanent judges. Additionally, the collegium recommended considering Justice Abhay Ahuja for appointment as a permanent judge in the Bombay High Court. The collegium resolutions provided details of the deliberations leading to the recommendations, including the consideration of judicial officers and advocates for judgeship in high courts.
