Rajnath Singh: Gurukuls to provide impetus to cultural development

Union defence minister Rajnath Singh laid the foundation stone of the "world's largest gurukul" in Haridwar. The event was hosted by the Patanjali group, led by yoga guru Swami Ramdev. Singh emphasized the importance of gurukuls in preserving Indian culture and promoting cultural development. He praised the modern gurukuls for their use of state-of-the-art facilities and encouraged them to incorporate emerging technologies like artificial intelligence. Ramdev announced plans for a significant investment in the Gurukul Mahavidyalaya, which has a rich history and has been visited by five PMs in the past.
