CBI chargesheet against fake PMO official who duped hospital
Sunday, 7 January 2024 The CBI files chargesheet against Maayank Tiwari, who posed as a high-ranking official of the Prime Minister's office, in a case involving an eye hospital chain and an Indore-based hospital. The chargesheet alleges that Tiwari forced the hospital chain to forfeit over Rs 16 crore owed to it by the Indore hospital in a legal dispute. Tiwari allegedly contacted the promoters of Dr Agarwal's, the eye hospital chain, through his mobile phone, and demanded settlement of the dispute.
