Thursday, 18 January 2024 Days after Supreme Court annulled the remission granted to 11 convicts in the Bilkis Bano case, nine of them moved the court seeking extension due to medical problems and family responsibilities. SC agreed to hear their pleas on Friday subject to CJI's approval. Among the convicts are Bipin Chandra Joshi, Ramesh Chandana, and Mitesh Bhatt.
