High Court refuses to stop Mahua's eviction from government bungalow

The Delhi High Court, on Thursday, declined to prevent authorities from evicting TMC leader and former MP Mahua Moitra from her government bungalow after the cancellation of allotment following her expulsion. Justice Girish Kathpalia observed that Mahua had been assigned the accommodation as a Member of Parliament, and since she has been expelled without a stay from the Supreme Court, her parliamentary status has ceased.
