India tracking Chinese 'research' vessel headed for the Maldives
India closely tracks Chinese research vessel Xiang Yang Hong 03 heading to Malé via Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka denied permission for docking, and the Indian Navy is monitoring its movements. Previously, Chinese vessels Shi Yan-6 and Hai Yang 24 Hao had visited Colombo despite Indian objections.
