New criminal laws herald new phase: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday praised the Supreme Court for giving the country's socio-political milieu a new dimension through its decisions upholding the Constitution framers' cherished principles of liberty, equality and justice.On the occasion of Supreme Court's 75th anniversary celebrations, Modi said simplification of laws to make the commoners understand them is as important as the courts writing judgments in simple language.
