In a setback to the struggling Congress in Himachal Pradesh, Mandi MP Pratibha Singh declared on Wednesday that she would not run in the Lok Sabha elections, stating that "elections can't be contested by merely distributing MPLADS funds." Pratibha, after participating in the Congress screening committee meeting in New Delhi on Tuesday to deliberate on the Himachal seats, expressed skepticism about the party's prospects in the current scenario.
