BJP slams Punjab excise policy, seeks probe by central agencies
While BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh demanded a CBI investigation, a Punjab BJP delegation led by state chief Sunil Jakhar approached Punjab chief electoral officer (CEO) Sibin C to demand an Enforcement Directorate (ED) probe into "planned corruption" in Punjab's excise policy. In its memorandum, BJP delegation submitted that the policy in Punjab was on the lines of the now scrapped Delhi excise policy.
