Landslide kills minor in J&K’s Ramban, rising Jhelum sets off alarm bells

A 13-year-old boy was buried alive when a new landslide occurred in the Karool area of Ramban district on Monday afternoon. The continuous rains caused damage to Jammu's hilly areas, leading to landslides and shooting stones along the Jammu-Srinagar national highway. Houses within a 2km radius of the subsidence spot in Pernote village were also affected.
