50.72 crore of 76.41 crore eligible voters exercised franchise in first 5 phases of LS polls: EC

In the first five phases of the Lok Sabha polls, out of the 76.41 crore eligible voters, 50.72 crore people have voted based on the data provided by the Election Commission on Saturday. According to ECI, the first phase conducted on April 19 for 102 seats, 11 crore voters out of a total of 16.64 crore electors participated, resulting in a polling percentage of 66.14.
