A fast-track court in Dehradun sentenced Ankit Joshi, 32, to 20 years in prison for sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl. The victim was the daughter of a friend visiting for a surgery. Medical records and the girl's testimony played crucial roles in the conviction. Joshi was fined Rs 1.1 lakh, with Rs 1 lakh compensation awarded to the survivor.
